Hi all,

I'm trying to add a M2616 to the system using MAT-Station. When MAT starts a sync with the PBX to add the M2616 (with DN 490) it stops at the moment it tries to add the key 0 SCR 490. The errorcode is SCH0375 "DN type conflicts with input"

What does this error mean and how can i resolve it?

Thanks in advance for any help

Do a dnb on 49 & see if 490 is in use elsewhere i.e, ACOD or CDP or Phantom, etc.

now i might sound stupid, but how do i do that?

i did a LD 20 / LUDN and it does show 490 to be in use but it doesn't show me where. is there a way to show this?

LD 20 PRT TYPE IS DNB

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

when i do that i get the following output :

LD 20
REQ: PRT
TYPE: DNB
CUST 0
DN 490
DATE
PAGE
DES
DN 490
CPND
CPND_LANG ROMAN
NAME BEDIENING
XPLN 23
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
TYPE LDN
NACT

so i conclude the system reports this number as "bediening" but that can't be cause 400 is "bediening". What is going on here, any clues?

It would seem that x490 was given the same name as x400.
This is done is LD 95. You can change this as you like. Is it possible that "bediening" sits at the console thus having more than one ext?

However, the important thing from yout dnb is the type for x490, it is LDN which stands for Listed Directory Number. The LDN is used to receive calls on the console usually from DID numbers or FEX/WATS trunks (ie main numbers) programmed to auto-terminate at this DN. If x490 is used for this purpose, you should leave it as is and pick a different ext for your M2616.

The LDN is also used to define the number of digits received for DID's on PRI trunks. If your system has PRI trunks and this is the only purpose for x490, then you can change the LDN to any other UNUSED 3-digit ext on your system. (Ensure the new 3-digit ext you pick does not conflict with other DNs.) That makes x490 available for use as a regular DN.

LDN is changed in LD 15/Gateopener LDN_DATA in rls 22 or higher and LD 15/CDB in rls 21 or lower. Be advised that your system may have more than one LDN programmed. To verify which LDN# to change, first go to LD 21 to print the pertinent data.
For rls 22 or higher:
LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE LDN
CUST 0
For rls 21 or lower:
LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE CDB
CUST 0

See the Administration Input/Output Guides for more info on the LDs mentioned above.
