I'm trying to make a dmz for my webserver, using isa and 3 nic's. It isent working and it is because i have used private addresses (172.16.1.0) between my Isa and Web. My lan is 192.168.1.0. Well to get to the point i now have to make a public subnet between my isa and Web. How is that done ??? If my Isp f.ex had given me 210.55.50.89-94 (88-95) with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.248 how should the Dmz subnet then be configured ??

Well, I aint getting much help from any of you, but this is what I have found out so far.

1. When you make an DMZ Zone in Isa you cannot use a private ip range (It is possible, and you can publish a web server, but it is impossible to communicate with your internal Lan from the Web server, and you cannot access the internet from the web server either).
2. You must make a public ip DMZ Zone which give me a problem. I only have from 88-95, that gives me ip adresses from 89 to 94 that i can use. Should I make a public DMZ Zone i'd have to split my ip net up in pieces. It whould look like this:

# Address Broadcast Range
22 212.55.50.88 212.55.50.91 212.55.50.89 to 212.55.50.90
23 212.55.50.92 212.55.50.95 212.55.50.93 to 212.55.50.94

If i do it like this I'll loose 2 of my public ip adresses for subnetting.

Well this what i've found out so far, just for your information, any comments would be great.
