I was given permission to share an older version of the DLS Training Course with this group, and I have upoaded it to Tonido. It is under the Shared folder, and DLS Deployment Service, and is a 289 MB zip file that will expand into a directory with the course in it. The course is a flash based narrated slide show and I had best results with Chrome, but I suspect part of that is because I don't use IE so it's not current, and I have my Firefox frozen in time to right before they broke it so it would no longer work with the 4000, which means my flash plugin is not up to date on there. There is a little readme file in there too that essentially says the same thing.

I would be interested to hear how it works for you if you grab it, and any comments you post can be shared back with the person who made it available. Basic DLS is free to use, and it is such a great tool there should be no reason that anyone with more than a few phones to manage is not using it!

If you are not familiar with how to access Tonido, where we have our library of documentation and certain firmware and utilities stored, you can go here:

Choose guest login and use hipath4000 for both credentials.

Thank you very much Don for the upload.
I would like to run it but my main kit is up to date latest etc. so I will have to run it on a virtual machine which is fine.
But please can you tell me what Versions of Browser and Adobe Flash that you are successful with, thanks.

I could not run it on whatever version of IE is on my computer - I hate IE because every other click you need to confirm the security mismatch crap. I have firefox frozen at 52 I think because right after that they did a revision that killed my ability to use it for the 4K. I did get it to work on s recent version of Chrome with what I assume was an up to date flash plugin. I'm at home right now so I will have to look what I have when I get back to the office tomorrow. I hesitated to upload it because I was having problems, but after it ran on Chrome, which is probably current, but I don't really use it at work, I assumed it's just because my system was out of date. Worst case you NEED a system that is out of date!)

OK, as I suspected, this is because you are running a CURRENT version of Flash. Here are two possible ways to fix the problem (and probably some other problems). Please note that in the instructions that immediately follow, do not fill in the URL box (in Windows) - click the Add Folder button and navigate to the folder that has the DLS Training content in it, and say Confirm.

Code:
Workarounds for Legacy (Flash) Content:

We highly recommend that you only circumvent these controls to enable content from sources that they trust.

For Individuals:
For Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Safari:
On the affected system, go to the Flash Player Settings Manager:
• Mac: System Preferences > Flash Player
• Windows: Control Panel > Flash Player
Select the Advanced tab
In the Developer Tools section, click the Trusted Location Settings button
Click the "Add Folder..." button and add relevant files and folders to the list

For Google Chrome (and other PPAPI browsers):
Navigate to the Settings Manager page
Choose Edit Locations > Add Locations from the popup list
In the text field that appears, type or paste the file/folder path that you'd like to trust
Click the "Confirm" button
Note: Please be aware that the "Browse for files" and "Browse for folder" buttons do not function properly. You must manually type or copy/paste your path into the text field above the buttons to add the file or folder to the trusted list.

OR, you can download Standalone Flash Player, run Standalone Flash Player, choose File and go to the directory where the DLS Training is stored and double click on the viewer.swf file.

(or get it from Softpedia like I did)

The problem is affecting Adobe's own products because they made security updates athat are not compatible with older versions of Presenter, and adobe doesn't really seem to care, but some folks in communities just like ours have provided these work arounds and both of them work for me. If you burned the DLS training onto a CD then the Standalone Flash Flayer is the best option!
