Can a DLookup be run on a Memo field in a report?

I am trying to get a Memo field to appear on the Report Header of my report. The code I'm executing is this:

=DLookUp("WhatsNew","tblFiscalYear","FY=" & [FY])

Any suggestions?

Is FY a text field? If so:

[tt]=DLookUp("WhatsNew","tblFiscalYear","FY='" & [FY] & "'")[/tt]
