dll installed in client side

Dear all experts,

I have heard that it is possible not to have the Crystal Report installed in the server side but having some dlls to installed at the client side and the reports can still be displayed in the client side's web browser.

Is it possible?

I don't think this is possible. The engine to run the reports has to be somewhere, and if you're running via the web, it has to be available to the web server. Judith Ullman
