DLL Error Exporting RDC Generataed Report to Excel

Does anyone have any idea what this means....

Run-time error '-214190908(80047784)':

Failed to export the report.
Error in MS Excel Export Format DLL.
------------------------------------------

I am exporting two RDC reports from VB application to Excel8. The first one works fine and the second one did too until I added two more columns to the report. Now I get the error above. Does anyone know if there are limits as to how many columns can be exported to an export report from a Crystal report?

Did you find a solution to your problem...

i am getting the same error..

on the local server it works fine.. it has Office 2000 installed..on it.. with NT 4

on the production server it fails... it doesnt have Office 2000 and is on win 2000.

any suggestion would be welcome
