I heard a suggestion that it might be possible to include an external dll in a resource file, and at runtime make calls to functions in the dll. This would enable use of an external dll without needing to distribute it as a separate file. Has anyone heard of this or have any suggestions about how it might be done?

You would have to write it from the resource to a sepearate file on disk, and then call it.

Cheers
