I've been running a legacy 2.6 app on win 2k for the last few years and my old clunker could still run foxprow.exe (2.6) after I'd patched it with the official microsoft patch. Now, with my new PC even the patch isn't enough but we're not ready to let go of the app as it does 99% of the things we need.

Any ideas on how to get programming access again?

The official microsoft patch works for some situations, but many of us find using DZPATCH more reliable.

If you do a Keyword Search for "Divide By Zero" you will find many other postings where we make other patch recommendations.

Just for the record, at least for FPW2.6a, you can't tell which method was used - the official one or DZPATCH - the resulting files are identical!

The advantage of DZPATCH, is that it works on all versions of FPW, and actually a number of other apps that were put together with the same compiler / linker combination that MS used to create FPW!

If you've copied the patched versions of files to your new pc and are having new problems, there's a good posiibility it isn't the patch.
Look for other posts in this forum regarding index corruption, print drivers and so on.
