i have a DDI number programmed into the switch in the office (ip office403ds 3.2 (67)), divert is always on and it diverts to my mobile. sometimes though it throws up a "218 error please leave a message". i think it is because there are not enough lines in the building and as it cant grab one, diverts to voicemail.

is there a way i can program this to fall back to the reception if the line is not available?

If you have VM Pro you can send any calls that are sent to VM to Reception, just put a transfer to Reception in the users leave start point :)

Also I have never tried this but it could work, put a phantom/virtual user in a sequential huntgroup and have that user forwarded unconditionally (also huntgroup calls)to the moblile, make sure VM is off on the user and group and turn queueing on for the group, then target the group with the DDI, if all lines are in use the call should queue until one becomes free. As i say it may not work it's just a thought :)
