Hi forum-newbie here,

We have just switched from BC 7.2.11 (yes i know it is old, that's why we switched ;-)) to BC 11 and now i have the following problem:

I used to be able to divert normal extensions with my "master" extension using the group-diversion codes:
- *24* ext * div ext #
- #24* ext #

But with BC 11 that's not possible anymore... :( at least not with the group-codes, that is...

Anybody got any idea if there are other codes i could use?

Thx.

It sounds like this was "patched" in your BC7 system as the procedure *24* is normally used to divert hunt groups.
Before the upgrade of your system did somebody run an MCC to compare program units and patches against the standard??

There were lot's of patches on the BC7, they were barely able to get the system y2k-proof...

Don't really know what they did, when they upgraded...
But If it was patched could that be done again? Could "I" do it??

to rrmagno,

thanks for the advise, but it's not quite what i am looking for....

i want to put extensions in diversion state from "my" phone...

i could put extensions in div on my "master" extension with the group diversion codes *24*AAAA*BBBB# and #24*AAAA# (AAAA being normal extensions and BBBB being diversion number).

Worked really nice for "blocked ext", so i could put them in follow-me to a number and take my time solving the blocked problem.....

So not just groups but normal extensions as well...

sadly that's not possible anymore...

Hello Grootje,

I never heard the feature you describe in BC7.
Anyway you can ask the switchboard to program a follow-me using the procedure *21*A*B and #21*A# to cancel.

Hello Grootje
i think the only way is to do this diversion with the OPI.
*21*ext*div#
It will work fine with all releases.
The other way is a new patch from ericsson, but i think they wont do this for BC11.
regards
