I am having a problem with subreports I make in CR9 on an Oracle database. It always includes the user id as a qualifier on all the table names, so the report I build will only work in the database I created it in unless I go through the report and update all the datasources. I was able to remove the qualifiers in CR8.5 by deleting the table prefix in the set data source window to get around this problem.

Is there any way I can create a report that will work in any Oracle database as long as the right tables are there?

What sort of connectivity are you using?

If you use OLE DB or ODBC, then it will use whatever they are pointed to.

I am using the Oracle Native Drivers. You are using ODBC in CR9 with Oracle, and crystal reports doesn't put any qualifiers on the tables of your subreports?

I believe that you can remove the schema qualifiers if you write the SELECT statement and put it in a SQL Command.
