Having written some software in Borland C++ Builder, I am now ready to distribute it to users. Does anybody have a suggestion for a good installation utility that will create the required directories and copy the software. There are no DLLs - just the executable plus some data files.

[tab]Try InstallShield. If used to be packaged with some versions of BCB. My InstallShield askes for things like DLL's, SQL's, BDE, etc., as well as the program. I'm sure that there are other programs, too. I show a listing of for their web site.

Try with the couple of program Inno Setup and Script Maker. The last is the "RAD" for the first, the real setup program.
