I had it working.... Then someone changed the configuration to allow VM to e-mail.

Here is my question.
General - E-mail
Under SMTP Sender setting tab.
the line is the same on both sides.
Domain Server port Identifyer
LocalVM.local_domain.com localVM.local_domain.com 25 localVM@localVM.domain.com
emaildomain1.com IP of relay 25 noreply@domain.com
emaildomain2.com IP of relay 25 noreply@domain.com
emaildomain3com IP of relay 25 noreply@domain.com
RemoteVM.local_domain.com RemoteVM.local_domain.com 25 RemoteVM@RemoteVM.domain.com

localvm is the computername assigned to the central VM server
remoteVM is the computername assigned to the UC card at remote.

please help and let me know why it does not work...

The DNS is working and can ping the address of both devices.
At central I see the server under Distributed Voicemails in red shows the correct IP address result is Started
At remote is show distributed at top but nothing under "Distributed Voicemails"
DNS is the same server for both locations.

Thanks,
Jason

If it is like backup vmpro then the smtp sync needs to be the first entry on both machines and vmail to email is the second entry.

I think I have totaly confused myself now. I deleted all the entrys and trying to rebuild them. Please help...

Let me get distributed VM working again.... only one entry correct?
THis is an app server for IPO 8.1 Central server is a HP server running Linux App Server the remote office is a UC modual.

Please identify the forllow:
On the central server. what is the domain to be? what is the server to be? port is obvious. what is the identifyer?
Should "Mail Domain" be the "IP address or name" of the REMOTE server? or the LOCAL server?
Should the "Mail Server" be the (App Server (name or IP)) of the REMOTE server? or the LOCAL server?
What should the Sender be?

On the Distributed server. what is the domain to be? what is the server to be? port is obvious. what is the identifyer?
Should "Mail Domain" be the "IP address or name" of the CENTRAL server? or the LOCAL server?
Should the "Mail Server" be the (App Server (name or IP)) of the Central server? or the LOCAL server?
What should the Sender be?

Thanks,
Jason
