We are setting up a Distributed VM server on IP Office 8.165. The Distributed IP Office is configured to use Distributed VM and the distributed VM server is on the local subnet with the distributed IP Office. It seems to be working well, but The docs say that the users will be retrieving messages from the Central server. If that is the case should the *17 ("?U") SC use the SCN line to the Central VM PRo?

Thanks

It doesn't need any changes. Only the "Dial..." feature shortcodes use the Line Group setting of the short code.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

The reason I was asking is because I'm having the problem described in this thread: 940-1693352. If the users use *17 to access their VM from the distributed IP Office, the default Intuity prompt: "press 3 to change your greeting" results in an "Invalid Entry" . I've noticed too, that when the users use the message button on their phone, they interact with the Central VM server, but when using *17 the seem to be interacting with the distributed VM server. Thanks for any suggestions.
