hi all
does AIX4.3 provides concept of DFS as presented by WIN2000
IF yes then where are proper documents or where are the
books describing concept of DFS..pls guide me

IBM manufactures AFS since bought it along with some other company (transarc?)

AFS and Distributed computing concepts was introduced long before Windows 2000 (-:

sorry the poor guy is from windows world and microsoft wants everyone to think they come up with everything the first.
But they are the last one.

then search for DFS.

If you have a problem then call microsoft they will help you with DFS. just shutdown and reboot the system.
 
Not always - sometimes you need to use correct configuration wizard and check correct checkboxes in third step
 
gheist, you forgot the obligatory reboot afterwards...plus the MS Update patches every 2 weeks after that. IBM Certified Specialist - MQSeries

How does anyone get any work done like that?
