Distortion on wav file attachments

We have a customer with an IPO 8.1.69 using VM Pro. They have voicemail to email setup. Occasionally they get wav file attachments where part of the message is very distorted, making it almost impossible to hear. The same message plays fine through the phone.
Anyone ever hear of this?

I have the same issue with R9.0.3 Voicemail to email intermittent distortion on messages played as wav files on pc. Sounds good playing message with the phone thought. Have changed the pc and the IP office control box. Any others with this problem?

I had this happen with one customer recently on 8.1 firmware. We redirected the user's messages to his Gmail account for a few weeks and the issue went away. I think their SMTP server was corrupting the .wav when it relayed it.
