Distorted MOH

I have a site that when an external caller is placed on hold, the MOH "skips" and starts over at about the 5 sec mark. The MOH.wav file has been replaced several times, and when listened to as just a .wav file, it sounds good. This is a CM 7.1.3

Is the MOH server local to the site or across a WAN connection?

Local to the site, the MOH file is loaded on the router on site.

Have you tried uploading the MOH file to the CM server itself?

sorry, I meant to say that my issue was a codec mismatch. have you checked that portion of it yet?
