Distinct option.. 2

Hello Guru's

When I execute a report its retrieving around 3000+ Pages but for my other report their is an option of choosing Distinct which I checked in the Query analyzer while executing the report. Can anyone of you please tell me where can I select this option of Distinct in Crystal reports 9.0.

To get the distinct records, you need to select database>select distinct records.

Thank you for ur reply but I dont see the Option under Database. When I select Database I see

Database Assistant
Specify Datasource path
Server Login - Log Off
Examine Database connection...

The above options are the ones which are available... for me when I choose DATABASE in CR9.0

When you are in design mode, use the pull down menu Database, if it's a SQL database it will show Distinct at the bottom of the pull down menu.

If you have multiple records for an account but just want to see it once, the normal solution in Crystal is to group on the account, show group header or footer and suppress details. Is that what you were after?
