Distiller created PDFs are Hazy!

Hello,

I am having trouble distilling my documents. I'm using Acrobat Distiller as my printer and also Acrobat Distiller for the printer description. All the colored images are coming out hazy, as if there's a semi-transparent white layer over the entire document. I have fiddled with all the settings, but I cannot seem to change it. My eps files are also coming out terribly. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a PC.

Try selecting PDF Writer as your printer then click on Properties next to the printer descrip to select your settings.
