We are setting up a new office + - 175 meters from the main PBX switch , we are going to jumper the phones into the new building via 100 pair voice cabling , would there be any issues in regards to pushing the lines across that distance
 
that'll be fine. get some lightning arresters for each end of the cable though.....

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
 
According to the NTPs, you can go a maximun of 3,500 feet using 24 gauge wire.
