I have a report and i want to include the social security number in it but it is displaying as 000112222 how can i get it to display like 000-11-2222?

Thnx in advance Thanks, PAUL

Try using the Format function on your record source. For example; =Format([SSN],"###-##-####")

When i change it to that for some reason after i click off of it it changes back to "#-#-#"

The following is my text code

=[First_Nm] & " " & [M] & " " & [Last_Nm] & ", SSN: " & Format([SocSecID],"###-##-####")

But like i said when i do this after i click off of it it changes it to "#-#-#"? on my record source it is based on a query. Thanks, PAUL

You can also try putting an input mask on the field from the field's properties. That should display the hyphens.
