A company has 200 plus ddi's and they would like each one to display on the handset so that they know which number there customer has dialled. Previously we have done this by creating a huntgroup for each one but this will take ages. Please let me know if there is a quicker way?

The customer has well over 200 ddi's, please tell me I am not going to have to tag each ddi?

Yes, but it won't take too long if you copy/paste it. It's quicker than creating 200 groups which is what you asked for :)

Thanks for this Riddle. We have tried to configure this using 'tag' and then we put the destination as 200 Main but on the inbound call it still just shows as 200 main and does not display the ddi.

Can you not use 'tag' when the call is going to a huntgroup?

It does, but I imagine the screens aren't big enough to display it after the group name and Avaya didn't have the foresight to make the screen scroll when it doesn't fit :)

You could try to disable the Call Timer in the A-Menu on the Phone itself.
The timer uses 8 digits; 00:00:00

Indeed, I do that automatically now, so I didn't even think of it :)
