I need to have label captions that include the & character since the character is in the name of the business. I've tried different kinds of combinations of double and single quotes to no avail. When the Caption property is set to "AB&CDE" (for example) I just get the "C" underlined. What little trick am I missing?

Moreover, I have a number of field names which include the & character. Am I going to have trouble writing procedures due to this character? I'd like to keep it because the & makes the name of certain fields very descriptive but I'll change if it'll make my life easier.

You've made the 'C' into an accelerator key by placing the ampersand in front of it. The user can press alt+C to jump to that field. Usually, you'll want to use this feature on buttons like 'Add Record' with the A underlined.

AB&&CDE will make the ampersand part of the caption.

The ampersand is used to concatenate text strings so it's not a good idea to use it in a field name. Use Employee_Name or EmployeeName instead.

Thanks. Who knew a cute business name could be so annoying? I've changed my field names by spelling out "Ampersand" and am now seeing the character on my forms.
