My report is coming from multiple data sources, each being displayed in a separate subreport and in different detail sections. Is there a way I can report dynamically on what source is being used? Obviously I can hard code the names, but that will be a hassle once I send a report to somebody else.

thanks

That would depend on the version of software, the database, and how you are connecting.

There isn't a generic means to do so, however one method might be to use a SQL Expression to accomplish this.

Sorry - CR 11 Pro. Attaching via ODBC.

Attaching via ODBC to what database, or do they vary?

If you know the syntax to return the database then create that syntax in a SQL Expression.

If it varies, you'd need to code differently for each, which may defeat the purpose here.
