Hi, probably a really easy thing to do (I hope), how can I display an SNMP V1 field in HP openview when it's not a string variable? The packet layout is as follows and the entry I want HPOV to display is the one named 'Agent Address', now I can get the variables with a simple $1= etc but I don't know how to show other parts of the trap. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...

Simple Network Management Protocol
Version: 1
Community: trap community
PDU type: TRAP-V1
Enterprise: 1.3.6.1.2.
Agent address: 172.100.32.21
Trap type: ENTERPRISE SPECIFIC
Specific trap type: 301
Timestamp: 15884
Object identifier 1: 1.3.6.1.2.3.0 Value: STRING: "Alarm Notification
Object identifier 2: 1.3.6.4.1.1.2.2.1
Value: INTEGER: 1
Object identifier 3: 1.3.6.4.1.1.2.2.2
Value: STRING: "2004 03 29, 14:10:40
Object identifier 4: 1.3.6.4.1.1.2.2.3N
Value: INTEGER: 0

And I forgot to mention that it's running on version HPOV 6.41 on a win2k platform (before anyone starts thinking about unix scripts). Cheers all.
