When rebooting my NT4 server I get the following: The Currently Selected Display Resolution is Invalid" I did a search and came up with a Microsoft KB article 277826, which states, remove the basevideo subkey if it exists under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\currentcontrolset\control\graphicsdriver
and reboot. I've done as the KB suggests but the subkey keeps repopulating after the reboot and I still get the same message.

Try updating the video driver. Ensure you've got the correct model installed.

Thanks Griffyn but I've reinstalled the video driver using the most recent and older version and still get the same error.

I know this sounds like teaching grandma to suck eggs, but I have seen a similar problem when the refresh rate has been set to the wrong value. In this case the VDU did not support this refresh rate and was giving this error message.
