I have a 2250 switchboard phone that was moved from our fourth floor to the first. All they moved were the cables, so no programming changes were made. It will not display the name or numbers of incoming callers now, however. Do you know how I can get that back?

No programming changes were made at all yet it doesn't display the name or the numbers of the incoming caller?????

Sounds very suspect. Can you post a PRT of it?

I bet a change was made or the move just made people notice it. Here's where to look:

LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE ATT_DATA
OPT <--- Look here for XDP

If you see it, that's whats wrong

LD 15
REQ CHG
TYPE ATT_DATA
OPT <--- Just type IDP

- Now as to why this occurred:

Someone inadvertently typed the word "yes" at an OPT prompt in LD15. On your touch tone dial YES and XDP are the same digits, right? The programming mnemonics are based on the dial letters.

Try a different console to see if it is a display problem with that console?

Once i also got this problem, i just outed console TN and rebuild to get its display OK.
