A simple method, if there isn't many values, is define a formula field for column's values. Example :
formula1 : Column1 = if {datafield} = "Jones1"} then datafield_value else ""
formula2 : Column2 = if {datafield} = "Jones2"} then datafield_value else ""
formula3 : Column3 = if {datafield} = "Jones3"} then datafield_value else ""
then you must get the maximum (inserting a Grand Total) for this fourmula field, finally you can hide the Detail Section.
An easier way would be to format the detail section into multiple columns.
Go into the Section Expert, and tick the "Format with Multiple Columns" box. When you do , you'll notice an extra tab appearing in the right hand side of the dialogue box called "Layout". Here you can control the spacing of the columns and the spaces between.
