DISPLAY HIDEPLOT IN VIEWPORTS?

hi,
I'm drawing in 3D, and usually I set up several viewports to keep track of object locations; front, side, top, and an isometric view. In the isometric view I enable "hideplot" so wireframes are hidden in that port for plotting. However, I have to do a plot preview to see it while I'm working. Is there a way to make that viewport always display w/ wireframe lines hidden, regardless of plot preview, i.e. all the time?
If not, are there other methods to achieve the same end?
any help appreciated...

Hi,

Hideplot is used only to print/plot with hidden lines removed. It won't show in the normal run of draughting..

The best and most simple way to achieve what you want is to just use the shade command in the viewport. Double-click inside the desired viewport (so you're in floating model space) and the use View >> Shade >> Hidden. This will hide the lines in realtime but will not plot with hidden lines removed. To do both, simply do both - use the shade command in the viewport so you can view it while drawing and still keep the hideplot property for the viewport..

Anyway, I hope this helps..
