Our attendant console was moved over the weekend and we seemed to have lost the display. Everything else with the phone is working. I wasn't here for the move so I'm not sure what changed. It's most likely something simple right? Does it require a power supply? Is there a hidden button? Please help. Thanks!

Or there is sometimes a power supply under the desk...

Thanks,
CJH

So there should be a power supply? I have looked high and low for one. Even back at the old location. So if there was one, it seems to have disappeared.
48 volts on pins 7 and 8? Not clear on that. Is that for 2 pair?

Thanks for the quick responses.

Some installers use a power supply. Otherwise as phoneguy mentioned, you would wire from the aux port of the PBX, single pair cross-wire to the last pair (white/brown-brown/white generally) of the jack...

Check the cross-wire from the old location and see if there was anything wired to last pair - if so, move it to the new jack.

Thanks,
CJH

I've only played with one of these a few times, but when I connected mine for the first time, I had to push the little white reset button that is on the left side. I can't remember the details, but before my console would work, I did have to press that.

Also, the power on the aux port from the MCC/SCC is reversed, negative first, then positive. The phone will not work correctly without them being cross connected right.
