Display doesn't refresh

We have a G3rV8, the issue is the displays are not refreshing occasionally on our 6416D+M's or 8410D's. eg you're on a call and a second (internal) call comes in on a second appearance; after the second call covers to Audix, the display still says they're calling instead of reverting to the original call info. Another eg is Agent 'a' calls agent 'b' and then transfers a call. The display still shows Agent 'a' to Agent 'b' instead of the transferred callers' details.
Our external support states this is not an issue and that "Sometimes they're just a little slow to update".
I have never seen this before. Thanks in advance for your help.

Normally when displays stop updating periodically, it means that the processor is pre-occupied with other more important tasks. Are you running a very busy switch? Is your switch full to capacity? Updating displays is very low in the priority list for processor tasks!

Thanks loads for the info. our system is running no higher than 40% occupancy on any of our PN's.
