HI
I have some textboxes groupped in a single shape with set of custom properties.
The first task is make custom properties window of group shape visible and editable when user double clicks it
And the second one is link each subshape(textbox) with one of these properties to display its value inside.

Does anybody know how to solve this?
Thanks

Assign the custom property to the top shape and change the double click action to open the custom property window.

Open the group and determine the Sheet.n of the top shape. When you need to reference information from the top shape in a sub shape, prefix the value with Sheet.n. i.e. Sheet.5!Width.
You can play around in the Shapesheet to see what the formulas will be. Open a cell and then click on another cell to see how it would appear as a reference.

There are some good Visio shapesheets tips at

Thanks for answer. This is exacly way i've already found, Actually I couldnt find any information about accessing shapes inside a group for a long time..
But one problem is still here - how can i assign opening custom properties dialog to double click action? there're no any similar action in double click behavior...if you mean to assign such action through shapesheet section could you please give me an exmaple?

In the EventDblClick Cell of the Events section type
=DoCmd(1312)
