I used to know how to do this and now I am drawing a complete blank. I was able to display such things as the computer name, ip address, mac address, logonserver etc on the desktop of the client machines. Anyone ever done this or know how? TIA

echoecho,

What do you mean, 'display on the desktop'. Do you just want a way to list that infomation on the screen? Something like Ipconfig /all

Not sure what you are trying to do, maybe more info will help.

It would display on the lower right corner of the desktop, almost like it was the wallpaper. Just thought this would be handy when using a kvm switching between machines.

That is it! I use the ps tools line, and I completely forgot to look there! Thank you.
