I have an E1 (2 Mb euro/isdn protocol) configured on a 3300 Lx controller and would like the actual DID extension numbers on the system shown when a call is made from the Mitel system instead of the main pri number. How can I configure this?

First the Telco must be setup to allow the PBX to send caller ID.

With an NSU you use the IMAT program to define and activate the CPN Tables.

With embedded the CPN tables are programmed via the embedded system manager.

cpn substitution.

it takes the DN of the station, and strips out whatever you want.

for instance... 2593. you can make it strip off the 2 and add 487-9593. you have to add the 487-9.

I made it send out 111-1111 when I was messing around with it.

Thanks I will try that config and see what happens.

On another note just for clarification can a T1/E1 combo MMC connect to a Euro/Isdn E1 pri or can you only use the dual T1/E1 framer MMC?
