Hi all,

I've inherited a BCM 50 system on version 6.0.2.05.237.

I'm trying to get every phone in the office to display the phone number of incoming calls (Direct or global number). Currently only our main switchboard phones (01 & 02) are displaying the numbers of main number calls, though they are slightly different phones, I plugged in a T7208 to that DN and it displays the number.

Does anyone know the setting to display incoming calls on all phones?

Thanks & Regards,
Luke

it depends on how your lines are set up. Do you have a pri with dids? or just analog line appearances?

We have BRI-St4 lines for our Phones.

We do have an analogue line, but that's mainly just for our fax machine.

Cheers

Only ringing phones will display CLID automatically, others have to have that line appear and do Feature 811, call information.

Ok, thanks IronHorse. How can I set all phones to ring once main office number is rang? Is that possible?

Thanks.

No they would all ring at the same time.
Go into each set and make appear and ring then in each set go into TELCO and make eack line CLID to Y.

I don't think we have Telco? We have Business Element Manager, not sure if that's the same thing?

Ok, if we can't get all to ring, can we set 4 or 5 different phones to ring and display incoming call number. We only have around 15 active sets in an open office, with no specific 'secratery' as it were, several different people will be answering the phone in the day.
