Export the report. Under export format, choose 'report definition'. This creates a .txt file that documents the report including grouping, sorting, tables used, linking and formulas.
I do not know if this includes unused formulas. This is an unusual request, why are you asking about unused formulas?

A report definition file will export all formulas on the report canvas,drop them all on and run it again.
You alkso might try Report Inspector (Advertised above here). I went to look but the site is purdy fluffy, and though they mention their products' documentatIon capabilities, they don't have anything about what it does on the web page, an oversight I guess, everything else has some basic sales info (reading this Software Forces???).
