disk verify

After making a copy of a CD how can i check if it has been copied correctly. Tried using "verify" command in Command prompt window but it tells me The "verify " is off. How can i turn it on?


Running AMD 1800 XP
512 MB
80 Gig
Windows XP Pro

Type the command: "C:\verify on"

Also this from windows helpfile: Verify...Windows XP does not use this command. It is accepted only for compatibility with MS-DOS files.
