currenty working for a secondary school that has approx 1200 users disk quota is enabled. We have roaming user profiles.

The problem we have been experiencing is that the user area says that  they have used 14mb with a quota level of 20mb. when check the users home area the user has over this amount approx 32mb.

The quota system was initially setup but for some reason the previous network manager had disabled this. Have re-enabled disk quota approx 2month ago.

any idea?
thanks

I've played with this a bit, seems that the user must own the folder in order for the quota to apply to them. If admin owns home directories, quota's are out the window.

I would be interested in hearing other peoples opinions.
