Is there anyway under NT 4.0 to enforce a limit on the amount of disk space that a user has access to under their
home directory.

You need 3rd party software that bacisally modifies the NT kernel and NTFS file system. Not something I would recommend on a production server without a LOT of testing. Windows 2000 and NTFS 5 finally provide this capability, so if you have a server side rollout planned you will get the capability automatically.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my mind the most ...

Under win NT 4 a good but expensive third party is Quota Server. I have used it and it works well and is fairly easy to use.

oneworld@goes.com

Storage Central is the one to go for. I've heard of problems with Quota Server, and its user interface is awful. Microsoft themselves use StorageCeNTral which is broken up into Disk Advisor for storage reporting and Quota Advisor which enables quota enforcement. I have installed StorageCeNTral on 5 production file & print servers without problems. Refer n.b do not use Build 457 of the product!!
