Disk performance monitoring tool

I have EMC CLARiiONs, both fiber and SCSI connected to Sun servers. I am using SE Toolkit for performance monitoring. Because I am using Veritas Foundation Suite, SE Toolkit shows zero disk activity. vmstat and iostat do not show the disk activity accurately. Does anyone know of a disk performance monitoring tool for the EMC. I have not found anything in Navisphere that shows I/O activity.

You'll probably need EMC Control Center Suite to monitor the EMC box itself.

Hi,

Use Navisphere Analyser to monitor the activity on your array. If you are in Unix/Linux use sar to monitor.

If your got ECC (EMC ControlCenter) 5.x, you will able to use Work Load Analyser to check the performance of you EMC Box.

You can also use vxstat to look at the veritas volumes
