I am using QuarkXpress Passport 4.11 with OS X.2.3 running on a G4. I am the administrator of the Mac and I have set permissions on a user acount to restrict access to certain areas of the system.

When I try to save a Quark file to a zip disk or a mounted network drive it gives me the error: "Disk is full. [-34]". If I close Quark and try to open the file that it apparently tried to save I get the message: "Bad file format. [70]" I can save files from other applications to a disk or mounted drive with no read or write errors.

I can however save the file to a folder on the desktop that I do not have locked down. I've tried changing certain permissions like on the QuarkXpress application folder to have Read & Write access for all users.

I get the same error even in the root account. I don't want to unlock the whole system folder to the user account. Does anyone know of a solution to my problem?
