A Disk Full error message is displayed upon closing VSS. The problem disappeared without any intervention by the VSS Admin (me). Is this a problem w/ the VSS database, the server it sits on, Republicans in the White House? Would paying more attention to the Temp file and/or Archive utility help?

Additionally, the user may get a 'Data possibly corrupted..' message.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Sounds like the VSS Database ran out of disk space where ever you have stored it. This is NOT good! One of the things the gurus recommend with VSS is NOT to let it run out of diskspace! Usually you need enough diskspace equal to the size the VSS database to be safe.

Goodluck to you

Hey Shaker.

The error couldn't be reproduced and no additional users have reported it - so I can only assume a temporary problem with the server on which the VSS database is stored.

Cheers,
