Now that I got such a great response on the top, how about disk activity? I have been using the iostat -xdn and the Veritas Volume Manager vxstat -d -i 5 -c 6. Each gives good data but I am looking for something to run at the vt100 terminal similar to the top tools that operators, dba's, etc. could look at to get an idea if there is a problem with i/o.

You can go to sunfreeware.com and get the SE toolkit. It is not a SUN product, but it was written in part by Adrian Cockcroft of SUN.
Good graphical tool for less skill personnel like operators.

Been there and done that! Two problems. It only runs under Xwindows and it doesn't work with and will apparently never work with Veritas Volume Manager.
