Disconnection problem between endpoing and gateway

I have a server AIX 4.3.2 with Framework 3.6.1,DM 3.6.1 and
TEC 3.6.1. This server is a gateway for 50 endpoint.
When I reboot the AIX server, the endpoints loss the connection with the gataway and I need to restart the
lcfd service.
The endpoint are Windows NT 4.0 server with fw 3.6.1.

The endpoints will eventually try to reconnect.
You need to look at the options to the lcfd command to tailor these settings if you want to shorten them.
However it may be easier to write a script on the AIX box which goes out to those boxes and restarts the service.
