Disconnection into hyperterminal with modem

Hi all,

Whe using hyperterminal with external modem to access HPUX servers, it disconnect (sometimes) after 20, 30, 60 or 90 seconds. I saw all the stuff about external modem switched on and off, but I would like to know if it's modem or hyperterminal...

Any idea ?

Line noise? If this is from home...have local telco check for line noise. At work...your telcom office
