Hello to all,
here is the problem: sometime I am disconnected of the server and I must start again the station and all goes back in the normal. It can arrive several times per day, but I always have access to Internet even though I am disconnected of the server. Is it possible that is himself the network card because I only have that problem on station runing Windows XP with Intel networks card?
The server is Windows 2000 server and every station use static IP adress.

Thank you for your help

Do you also have a cable modem installed on the computer Chances are your connection is going via the cable modem card bypassing the server. The disconnections from the server can also be traced back to the cable modem card which can clash with the network card Take control of your life, not someone else's
