Hi all,
I have a W2k3 Terminal server that has a problem. I have a drive mapped to a shared folder on another server that keeps showing up as a disconnected drive. I tried to remove it by right clicking on the drive and telling it to disconnect. This only made it show up as a disconnected drive all the time. I can open the drive and see everything but I have a SQL program that gives errors because it thinks it is disconnected. I can not get this drive to completely remove itself so I can remap it. I have stopped it from mapping in all scripts. Has anyone come across this before and if so, how did you five it?

Thanks
John

Try issuing a net use /delete command.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

I tried that and it tells me the "Network name can not be found" But when you opne explorer, it is still there with disconnected drive. Also if you try to map it using explorer, the T: drive is missing from the list.

See if this thread can help you out.

- Network Drive Letter is "hung"
