I have two T1 lines (DID/DOD services) with 2 block of 100 DID numbers from AT&T and also 12 Centrex lines from Verizon. I need to cancel one of the T1 line, but don't know what steps to follow to disable one of the T1 card and without impact daily operation. I hope someone can give me a detail direction (I am new in this area) on:
1. How to find out two T1 lines is configure in my Norstar system
2. Are those 200 DID number associated with 2 T1 lines? When one T1 line been cancelled, will this cause some of DID out of services?
3. How to disable one of the T1 card and, beside to unplug the T1 jack.

The hardware configuration for my phone system as following:
Norstar MICS 0X32 with 4.1 software, two T1 services Card, two 6-Port Combo card, 1 ATA C/P, 1 RAD unit C/P.
5-MOX16
2-MOX8A
2-M12X0

Thank you,
Wendy

well for one along with your disconnect order to your carrier you can place a change order to have all 200 DID's directed to that span . all u should need to give them is your Circuit # and explain to your local account rep with your carrier what you are lookin to have done. they should be able to write an order to fit your needs.

My AT&T Account Rep. will take care the disconnect part. My problem is "what I need to change at my Norstar phone system". Before make any change, I like to know how to review my T1 setup and how to disable one of the T1 line. When I disable one T1 card, should I add additional parmater to other T1 card?

ok enter programming
Press next till display reads Hardware>showdisplay now reads Module status>enter Module 2 that should be the module that has ur T1's in it. you can then slect cards on KSU >show card 1 or 2 ?show T1 parameters will be in there. to disable U can go to maint. and follw same step till you get to your T1 card you are taking out of service>disable.
I hope that helps
