Hi,

I'm having an irritating problem with my access applications. The standard toolbar doesn't appear. For example when I go to the design of a table I need to go to View- Toolbars and click Table design.

This seems to be the case on all applications, and all windows? I think I can solve it by adding the toolbar and then saving the table/query/form/etc... but is there a reason what caused this?

Thanks in advance

You might use the following code in the autoexec macro to force Access to show certain tool bars.

DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Formatting (Form/Report)", acToolbarYes

Hope this helps.

One thing you might want to look at is on your Tools -->Startup options. Make sure you check Allow Built In Toolbars and Allow Full Menus. That should ensure that your toolbars display.

Hi,
Since you are facing this problem with all your apps, open any of the application and set all the toolbars that you required and close the app from Menu File > Exit
This will restore all of them back. You might be closing apps by close button of the form.
