Trying to find a way that will prevent users from changing from full screen mode to anything else. I can prevent the use of F11, but cannot prevent someone from hitting the restore button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You might try running IE in kiosk mode (iexplore -k). The only way to get out of kiosk mode is to shut down IE. You may have to include NoFileNew in the registry to disable Ctrl + N from opening a new instance of IE not in kiosk mode. Do a search on google for NoFileNew for info on where to put it. Hope this helps.
Totally brain dead on my part. Thanks for steering me alway from the complicated things I had in mind. I also use windows configurator, which will prevent the closing of IE, and disable the opening a new instance. Once again thanks!
If you want a program, which allows tons of security features to be set, then go to download.com and look for windows configurator. I use it at work, and its great.
